What does the camper van rental include?

All vehicles are equipped with basic cooking, eating, and sleeping supplies:

• Sink (built-in or collapsible)

• Water (varies with vehicle; 5-12 gallon)

• Bed

• Bedding (linens, pillows, blankets)

• Collapsible table

• 2-4 Camp chairs

• Dishes (set of 4)

• Basic cooking supplies (cutting knives + board, spatula, serving spoon, tongs, can opener, lighter, wine + bottle opener, kitchen towel, oven mitt + potholder)

• Propane cooktop

• Two full 1 lb. propane canisters

• Coffee percolator

• 1 pot, 1 pan

• Milepost guidebook

• Basic FirstAid kit

• Spare Tire + Tire gauge

Does it have a bathroom or shower?

None of our rentals include a toilet, shower, or any toiletries.

What mileage is included with rental?

​

• 125 miles per day (averaged over entire trip)

• Additional miles will be charged $0.25/1 mile

• Road to McCarthy

• Denali Hwy

• James Dalton Hwy

 

What can I expect at check-in + check-out?

​

• Check-in (30 minutes+) includes signing contracts, setup practice upon request, walk-through in + out of vehicle, and a brief driving test.

• Check-out (15 minutes) includes a very brief contract signing and a quick walk-through in + out of vehicle. 

• Vehicles are required to be returned with full tank of gasoline.

Reservations

​

• 3 night minimum 

• 7  nights+ qualify for weekly discount (automatically adjusted when booking)

​

• $75 cleaning fee + taxes added at time of booking

• 25% of total rental cost needed to reserve vehicle

• Remainder of rental cost collected 4 days prior to rental start date.

• $500 security deposit taken 2 days prior to rental dates (full return 7 days after rental is complete, unless additional fees or damages incurred)

• ​All payments must be made by a major credit or debit card

​

• Driver(s) must be at least 25 years old.

• Insurance is provided and required through our online booking system. Additional services such as roadside assistance can be added by choice.

• No smoking/vaping

• No pets allowed

• Restricted roads: McCarthy, James Dalton Hwy, Denali Hwy(Please inquire about other gravel, unmaintained roads).

Cancellations

 

• A full refund will be applied when cancelled 14 days prior to rental check-in date.

• A 75% refund will be applied when cancelled 7 days prior to rental check-in date.

• A 50% refund will be applied when cancelled less than 7 days prior to rental check-in date.

• If cancelling due to COVID-19, a full refund will be applied.
